We’re thrilled to share that we took home the top prize at the annual Pitchfire Startup Competition! The event gathered some of the most promising robotics and software innovators for an inspiring showcase of emerging technology. Our 3-minute pitch to a panel of three investors earned us the 2025 victory, a moment that celebrates both our team’s vision and the momentum driving our robotics middleware forward.
A big shout-out goes to all the incredible speakers and fellow startup founders on stage for this session: Katie Bradford (Founder & CEO at Rotate8), Kevin Hays (Co-Founder & CTO at Morelle), Lloyd Lei (Founding Partner & Machine Learning Engineer at StarBot Robotics Inc.), Dominic Lindsay (Founder & CEO at Nexobot), Roby Lynn (Founder & CEO at R2 Labs), and Toshi Quides (Chair of Board at Sensible Robotics). We look forward to seeing what else their companies have to offer to the robotics ecosystem. [1]
Throughout RoboBusiness’ Conference & Expo 2025, we had an incredible time connecting with roboticists, investors, and hobbyists alike. Our booth quickly became a hotspot as we entertained attendees with Lychee, our Unitree Go2 robot companion, showcasing the mission of Cerulion in action. Whether it was demonstrating programmed simulation motion or discussing the new era of robotics streamlined middleware, every interaction reinforced the growing excitement around what we’re building.
This victory spotlights Cerulion’s breakthrough approach, removing friction from robotic simulation and giving developers the fastest path from concept to reality. At RoboBusiness, we demonstrated this very promise in reducing integration headaches, unlocking speed in development, and providing a truly accessible robotics software that breaks down the barriers between complicated ROS interface and getting the job done without hassle. The energy and enthusiasm we experienced at the event reflect the growing momentum in streamlining robotics. We’re honored to be part of shaping that future and look forward to having you join us. Stay tuned to see what innovations we’re bringing to robotic middleware and continue reading our entires to see what we’re building to make roboticist lives easier and more efficient.
